:
vers 00:50 atterri juste devant un appareil du 604 Squadron (Mosquito MM496). Ce dernier, en bout de piste, le percute. La collision des deux appareils va causer l’explosion des réserves d’essence et de munition stockées aux abords de la piste. Le Fg Off Willmott reste bloqué dans l’appareil en feu.

Warrant Officer Arthur Charles WILLMOTT (032773) Royal Air Force. Volunteer Reserve, No. 108 Squadron.
Warrant Officer Willmott is an extremely efficient observer who has participated in many sorties and assisted in the destruction of 6 enemy aircraft at night. His example of keenness and devotion to duty has been highly commendable.
